A cooperation protocol was signed with the Apparel Automation Machinery Manufacturers Association (KOMİD), which announced that they will participate in the IGM 2022 Fair.

Dear members,

As a result of the consultation meeting we held with the participation of our members in the past days; A joint decision has been taken to participate in the IGM – Istanbul International Apparel Machinery Fair, which is the continuation of the “Tüyap Confection Machinery Fair”, which has been held for more than 20 years, and which will be held in partnership with Tüyap & Teknik Fairs.

Among the most important factors in taking this decision;

1- The IGM Exhibition is the continuation of a long-standing exhibition and its expertise in this field,

2- The fair is known in the international arena,

3- The organizers have given a guarantee that they will make all the promotional investment necessary for the participation of foreign visitors,

4- Providing the maximum discounts required for KOMİD members,

5- It can be considered that the unfair advantages provided to the importing companies in the past have been eliminated.

 

On the other hand, the fair, which was put forward as an alternative to the IGM Fair; The fact that it looks like an organization where it is fully supported by importing machinery manufacturers, is focused on the domestic market, is not known at the international level, even the exhibition area has not been finalized yet, therefore the halls and booths reserved for the exhibitors are uncertain, and therefore its contracts are legally suspended. has been effective. In the final analysis; Export is the most important and sustainable way out of the economic bottleneck our country is in. At the beginning of the main founding purposes of our association; to increase the export share of our manufacturing companies and to grow together both in the domestic market and throughout the world, in communication and solidarity with each other, and to provide savings and common gains together.
