KOMİD's historic release: Turkish garment machinery leaves its mark on CISMA 2025

The Clothing Automation and Machinery Manufacturers Association (KOMİD) organized its first national participation in CISMA 2025, the world's largest sewing machine trade fair, with 14 member companies. Turkish companies attracted significant attention at the Shanghai trade fair and forged important business connections.
CISMA 2025, the world's largest professional sewing machine and accessories trade fair, concluded with record attendance at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from September 24–27.
The fair, held with the theme of “Smart Sewing Strengthens New Industry Development,” hosted technologies that shape the future of the industry.
Türkiye's first national participation success
This year, KOMİD (The Clothing Automation and Machinery Manufacturers Association) broke new ground at the fair, representing Türkiye with 14 of its member companies at the event, organized in collaboration with Lead Expo. Turkish companies, occupying a total of 300 square meters of stands, brought their innovative production capabilities in apparel technologies to the international stage.
Participating companies were pleased with the strong interest shown in their stands throughout the fair, and they seized the opportunity to establish new business connections and develop international collaborations. The fair provided a productive promotional and business development environment for Turkish machinery manufacturers.
CISMA 2025 breaks visitor record
CISMA 2025 reached its highest ever visitor numbers this year, surpassing the 100,000 mark. The fair received a total of 101,297 visitor entries, while 91,314 were unique visitors. This figure represents an increase of compared to the previous fair.
The fair's global appeal was also reflected in the increase in international visitor numbers. A remarkable increase of .3 was recorded in the number of visitors from outside mainland China (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan).

Following the fair, KOMİD President Haluk Akın commented on the organization's success. Akın stated:
"CISMA 2025 offered Turkish apparel machinery manufacturers the opportunity to showcase themselves on the global stage. The connections our members made during the fair not only increased our export potential but also accelerated the technological transformation of our industry. As KOMİD, we have proven once again that Turkish machinery can compete internationally in terms of quality, durability, and innovation," he said.
