With this program, it is aimed to contribute to the commercialization of knowledge and technology in universities, research infrastructure, public research centers and institutes, by transforming them into products or processes and transferring them to the industry in line with the needs of organizations residing in Turkey and undertaking to implement the project results in Turkey.

What is the purpose of the program?
To contribute to the commercialization of the knowledge and technology in Universities/Public Research Centers and Institutes by transforming them into products or processes and transferring them to the industry in line with the needs of organizations residing in Turkey and undertaking to implement the project results in Turkey.

What is the Investment Support Amount?
Support Type: The percentage of the budget to be covered by TÜBİTAK is if the Client Organization is an SME, and if it is a large-scale organization. The remaining amount will be covered by the Client Organization.
Support Upper Limit and Rate:  Project budget up to 1 million TL can be supported.

How long is the project support period implemented in the program?
TÜBİTAK 1505 University-Industry Cooperation support period is 24 months on project basis.

When can I apply for the program?
There is no limitation for the application time in the TÜBİTAK 1505 University-Industry Cooperation support program. An application can also be made for a project that has actually been started.

Who can apply to the program?
Regardless of the sector, capital companies that create added value at the firm level, are resident in Turkey and undertake to implement the project results in Turkey, and higher education institutions, foundation universities, training and research hospitals within the scope of the Higher Education Law, and related legislation. R&D Public research centers and institutes assigned to make a joint project application.

Which expenses will be supported in the TÜBİTAK 1505 University-Industry Cooperation Support Program?
The following expenses are accepted in the program:
Including VAT of the Executive Organization;
• Contracted Staff & Scholars,
• Travel (Domestic & International transportation and accommodation),
• Tools/Equipment (part or all may be transferred to the client organization at the end of the project),
• Material and Consumable Expenses,
• Service expenses (up to a maximum of of the total project budget) are supported.
