KOMİD (Association of Apparel Automation Machinery Manufacturers), which was established with the aim of creating coordination and unity of power among Turkish companies manufacturing apparel automation machinery and systems, organized a meeting event on July 3, 2021.

The members of the association, who could not come together due to the pandemic since its establishment, met with the breakfast event. Joining the breakfast event held on the boat, KOMİD members exchanged information on sectoral developments, innovation ideas and R&D investments, accompanied by a pleasant view of the Bosphorus.

In the program moderated by the Secretary General of the Association, Erkan GÜLAŞTI, while the President of the KOMİD Association, Mr. Tuncay KORU, talked about the general establishment purpose of the association, the Vice President Mr. Ogün ÖZOL also shared brief information on KOSGEB, TÜBİTAK and similar subjects that the members of the association can benefit from.

Haluk AKIN, CEO of Epa Technology Company, which was instrumental in the establishment of the Apparel Automation Machinery Manufacturers Association (KOMID), also underlined the sentence "We should open up to the world and compete with the world, not with each other," while talking about the situation in the industry in general. In the organization attended by 70 company representatives from 50 member companies, KOMİD participation plaques were also given to the members.

The members, who left the first event held within the association with satisfaction, stated that the organizations became traditional and they were proud to be under the roof of KOMİD.
